Project Overview

Sky Ridge is a thoughtfully designed, 75-unitmixed-income community in Sun Prairie that brings together senior and family housing within a connected, sustainable neighborhood. The development includes three new buildings—one four-story elevatored building with 61 age-restricted apartments for seniors and two two-story townhome buildings with 14three-bedroom residences open to households of all ages. All units are rent-restricted for households earning between 30% and 70% of the county median income, ensuring long-term affordability and inclusivity.

Designed to Wisconsin Green Built Standards and certified through Energy Star New Construction and EPA Indoor AirPlus programs, Sky Ridge integrates high-quality materials, energy-efficient systems, and a planned 30 kW rooftop solar array on the senior building. Residents will enjoy a range of amenities including underground parking, private garages for townhomes, walking paths, outdoor gathering spaces with a grill station, firepit, and picnic area, as well as a playground. Indoor amenities include a community room, fitness center, resident storage, internet access, and offices for property management and supportive services—all provided at no cost to tenants.

Located along East Main Street—one of Sun Prairie’s primary corridors—the development offers convenient access to nearby schools, shopping, and city amenities, enhancing both livability and connection. Supported by WHEDA tax credits and Dane County affordable housing funds, Sky Ridge will provide much-needed workforce and senior housing, bringing balance to the Town Hall Crossing neighborhood and strengthening the community fabric.
