Knothe & Bruce Architects, LLC is recognized as one of the leading designers of housing in Southern Wisconsin.
In business since 1974, we specialize in a wide range of housing design from high-density, mid-rise apartment developments to senior housing. Several of our recent projects have also included commercial, retail and office developments. Our firm is on the cutting edge of the trend towards multi-use buildings.
Although we are active in designing all types of housing, a recent emphasis of the firm has been appropriate designs for elderly adults and the physically challenged. The firm recently won a Gold Medal Design award from the National Council of Seniors Housing for an affordable senior housing development in Madison, Wisconsin. The same project also received the 2004 Build Wisconsin Award from the Associated General Contractors of America.
The principals of Knothe & Bruce Architects, LLC have a combined 40 years of experience in the housing industry, and our 10-person staff is highly trained to handle a wide range of design projects. We can provide a full range of architectural services including design, construction documents, land planning and development consultation.
